RD6 BMD PREMIERSHIP TEAM LIST VS SUNSHINE COAST FALCONS – SATURDAY 20TH APRIL

Norths will take another important step in their BMD Premiership campaign with a visit to the Sunshine Coast this Saturday.

This will be the first clash between the teams after the Falcons joined an expanded competition this year along with Western Clydesdales.

The Falcons sit in last place on the ladder with one win after five matches but Devils coach Meg Ward said that position did not reflect their talent.

“The Falcons have some very good players and they’re playing on their home ground so this will be a tough visit for us,” Ward said.

“They started the season very strongly with a good win over the Tigers so they are a very capable team.

“We have to continue to focus on what we do well. This is a really important month.”
The Devils slipped past the halfway mark of the season with an 18-4 win over the Capras at Bishop Park last Saturday.

That pushed the Devils to third place on the ladder with four matches to play.

The Devils have won all three home matches but are yet to win away from home this season despite coming close against Burleigh and Wynnum Manly.

The Devils had excellent patches in both matches and fell just short.
