Devils Team List: Rd 3 Vs Souths Logan Magpies

This Saturday night Norths Devils host their first game of the season at Bishop Park, affectionately dubbed “Bash Up Park” by the fanatics and legends of the game. The iconic venue, known for its intense and physically demanding matches, promises a lively atmosphere as the Devils take on the Souths Logan Magpies in Round Three of the Hostplus Cup.

For many of the Norths Devils’ debutants, this match will be their first taste of the famed home ground. Bishop Park’s legendary status as “Bash Up Park” stems from the gritty, hard-fought encounters that have become a hallmark of Norths Devils home games. Players and fans alike know that a game at this venue is synonymous with passion, resilience, and the quintessential spirit of rugby league.

The Devils are expected to field a team largely similar to the one that displayed commendable resilience against Redcliffe last week. Despite the frustrating loss, the team’s defensive effort was a silver lining that the Devils aim to build upon. However, a few match-official challenges are pending outcomes from the judiciary, which may impact the final lineup.

Coach Dave Elliott and the Devils are not underestimating the challenge that lies ahead. Following two rigorous tests to start the season, the team’s defensive record is tied for the best in the competition. However, the Magpies’ attacking prowess will be a formidable test.

The Norths Devils are calling on their fans to pack “Bash Up Park” and create an atmosphere for their home debut. For the debutants and seasoned players alike, the support from the stands can make a significant difference.
