Born on July 26, 2002, Poasi Manu is a promising rugby league forward known for his versatility and commitment on the field. He is the younger brother of former New Zealand international Sika Manu.

Junior Development and Early Career

Manu began his junior rugby league journey with the Norths Devils, participating in the Mal Meninga Cup (Under-18) competition in 2019 and 2020. His dedication and performance led to his progression into the Hastings Deering Colts (Under-21) team, where he played during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Transition to Senior Football

In 2023, Manu joined the Melbourne Storm’s Jersey Flegg (Under-21) squad. Throughout the season, he made 19 appearances and scored four tries, earning the club’s Jersey Flegg Player of the Year award.

Return to Norths Devils

Manu returned to the Norths Devils for the 2025 season, securing a spot in the Hostplus Cup squad. His signing was officially announced by the club in November 2024.
