Born on July 24, 2003, Kane Rushton is a versatile rugby league player adept at both wing, halfback and fullback positions. He began his rugby league journey with the Monaro Colts, making his debut in the SLE Laurie Daley Cup on February 6, 2021. ​

Following his time with the Colts, Rushton joined the Canberra Raiders’ system, where he showcased his talent in the Jersey Flegg Cup. Notably, he scored two tries in a match against the New Zealand Warriors during Round 3 of the 2024 season. ​

In 2025, Rushton transitioned to the Norths Devils, bringing his dynamic playmaking abilities to the team. ​
