Born on February 6, 2002, Jackson Shereb has demonstrated significant promise as a second-row forward. His early rugby league development took place with the Illawarra Steelers, where he participated in the SG Ball Cup, a premier under-18 competition in New South Wales.
Shereb also played for the Thirroul Butchers, a club competing in the Illawarra Rugby League. His performances at the junior levels led to his inclusion in the St. George Illawarra Dragons’ system. In 2022, he was part of the Dragons’ Jersey Flegg Cup team, which is the club’s under-21 squad. His consistent development earned him a spot as a development player in the Dragons’ top squad for the 2023 NRL season.
During his time with the Dragons, Shereb continued to hone his skills, featuring in the New South Wales Cup, the state’s premier open-age competition. He played in the second row for the Dragons in their Round 24 match against the South Sydney Rabbitohs on August 12, 2023.
