Busy Bodies Takes Over Recovery in 2025

PRESENTED BY

Norths Devils RLFC is excited to welcome Busy Bodies as our exclusive recovery provider for the 2025 season following their recent expansion of services. This partnership ensures our players benefit from cutting-edge recovery solutions, state-of-the-art equipment, and innovative methods to help them perform at their best.

At Norths Devils, we are people before players, and that’s a cornerstone of our culture. We prioritise checking in and ensuring each player is well looked after, recognising that recovery is a huge part of individual success. Being at your best on game day isn’t just about intense training; it’s about managing the turnaround between games so that you are ready to perform at the highest level.

With their expanded services, Busy Bodies steps in as our new exclusive recovery partner, eager to build on this foundation of care and excellence. They bring a renewed commitment to enhance our recovery strategies, reduce downtime, prevent injuries, and keep our athletes performing at their peak—while still managing to create a few brain-freeze moments during those classic Ice-Bath Interviews!

Ben Horbury-Wood, the founder of Busy Bodies, leveraged his background in Clinical Exercise Physiology to create a nurturing space grounded in empathy and understanding. After struggling with debilitating lower back pain as an adolescent, he started his first business, Busy Bodies Exercise Physiology & Rehab, making it his mission to improve the quality of life for others through exercise and recovery.

Beyond his expertise, Ben’s venture is fueled by a rich tapestry of experiences, from the corporate health arena to assisting vision-impaired athletes on the golf greens and even scoring goals on the soccer field. In the five years since founding Busy Bodies, his relentless pursuit of life-changing improvements for people living with chronic pain or disabilities has continued. Ben values developing strong relationships with his clients, team members, and local businesses, and he remains always open to connecting.

“Feel free to reach out; I am always here to connect. Whether you have questions, stories to share, or simply want to learn more about the world of recovery and wellness, I’m happy to have a chat. I’m passionate about engaging with others—discussing recovery practices, sharing experiences, and exploring how we can all improve our well-being.”

— Ben, Founder of Busy Bodies

As Norths Devils RLFC looks ahead to another exhilarating season, Busy Bodies is committed to continuing the club’s recovery initiatives and building on the strategies that drove us to two major finals in 2024.
