Fresh off their third Hostplus Cup premiership in four years, the Norths Devils are ready to make more history as they travel to New South Wales this Sunday to compete in the 2024 NRL State Championship.
The Devils secured the Hostplus Cup title with an impressive 34-20 victory over arch-rivals Redcliffe Dolphins at Kayo Stadium, and now turn their focus to the Newtown Jets, reigning champions of the NSW Cup, in this highly anticipated interstate clash.
After falling short in their last State Championship appearance in 2022 against the Penrith Panthers, the Devils will be determined to bring the trophy back to Queensland this time around. No Hostplus Cup side has claimed the NRL State Championship since the Ipswich Jets triumphed over the Newcastle Knights in 2015 with a 26-12 win.
The 2024 NRL State Championship is set to kick off at 12:20 PM Queensland time (1:20 PM AEDT).
