The round two game against the Dolphins ended with no significant injuries, which is a positive outcome as the season progresses.
James Flack Overcomes Shoulder Issue
James Flack suffered a shoulder burner in Round 2 but didn’t affect his training leading or performance in Round 3.
Oryn Keeley Powers Through Elbow Injury
Oryn Keeley sustained an elbow injury early in the match against the Dolphins but toughed it out and continued to play after receiving heavy strapping. He played the full 80 minutes without being sidelined. After a week of rehab and recovery, Keeley made a strong comeback in the next match, delivering a solid 68-minute performance for our team.
Campbell Duffy’s Debut Stitch Up
During his debut game, Campbell Duffy suffered a significant cut to his chin, which required stitches after the match. However, he showed immense determination and toughness by playing through the pain. His entry into the team set a high standard for perseverance and grit.
Grade 1 Hamstring Strain
One of the players suffered a grade 1 hamstring strain over the past two weeks. However, the player is on the path to recovery and hopes to return to playing within 2-3 weeks. While this injury is unfortunate, it is manageable. With proper care and rehabilitation, we expect the player to make a swift return to the field.
Mild Injuries and Easter Rest
Over the weekend, some of our players experienced minor injuries, but nothing that would prevent them from returning to the field soon. With the Easter weekend approaching, all players will have an opportunity to rest and recuperate, ensuring they are prepared for upcoming matches.
