This week will see the Norths Devils take on the Burleigh Bears at the famous Arthur Beetson Oval in Roma, about 515km North-West of Brisbane, on Sunday 24th July for “Activate! Queensland Country Week”.
Norths Devils will also present their Belong Program to St Johns Catholic School & Roma State College on Thursday and Friday. The mission of the Belong Program is to build a feeling of belonging and improve wellbeing in our community, particularly for Children. The program is a relaxed, fun session where participants will be introduced to topics such as healthy eating & drinking water, sleeping, reducing screen time, being connected, self-aware and being active. Devils player Kierran Moseley will be part of the team presenting the program.
The NRL are also running local sessions for the community, with support from the Devils in the days prior to the Hostplus Cup fixture. The entire playing squad will also attend local junior games at Arthur Beetson Oval upon their arrival on Saturday.
Our Sunday fixture against the Burleigh Bears will be live on Channel 9, Kayo Sports and Qplus.tv.
