Tribute to Ellice Thomas

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ellice Thomas, one of our clubs most involved and longstanding volunteers, at the age of 92.

Ellice was the daughter of a Gallipoli veteran who came to watch her son Owen play for Norths in 1960 and never left. For over 50 years Ellice and her husband Clarrie were pillars of strength for our club, the type of people that we would not survive without.

It is impossible to say just how much their time, effort, and love did for our club but we thank you Ellice for being such an essential part of our club for so long.

Your memory will live on at the Norths Devils.

We send our deepest condolences to Ellice’s family and friends.
