Norths Devils have announced Palmerbet as the new principal sponsor of the Intrust Super Cup premiers.
Norths CEO Troy Rovelli said that he was delighted Palmerbet had agreed to a three-year deal, joining the Devils’ list of valued partners as the club prepares for its 90th season.
“We are thrilled to team with Palmerbet for the next three seasons. The Palmerbet logo will be on the front of our Intrust Super Cup jerseys and around the ground on signage from 2022 to 2024,” Rovelli said.
“We’re blessed to have partners with whom we have much in common. We’re a club that sets high standards, strives for excellence and strives to be engaged with our community, and we know Palmerbet has similar goals.
“This is exciting news for the Devils just two weeks after our grand final win and gets us off to a great start heading into our pre-season.”
Palmerbet was established as an online marketplace in 2013 by current chief executive officer Grant Palmer and his two younger brothers Matthew Palmer and Adrian Palmer.
The company was founded more than 30 years earlier by the brothers’ grandfather Ted Palmer. The Palmer family name and business have been firm strongholds in Sydney betting rings since, establishing a quality reputation.
The three brothers left promising careers in finance to take Palmerbet online, pledging to deliver a market leading betting platform that offers Aussie punters great betting value.
CEO Grant Palmer said he was excited to be partnering with the Norths Devils from 2022 and had been impressed with the professionalism in all aspects.
“The entire team from Palmerbet tuned in last weekend to watch the Devils win the grand final,” Mr Palmer said.
“It further backed up my initial opinion that the Queensland Rugby League competition is undoubtedly the leading rugby league competition outside the NRL.
“Palmerbet has been very impressed with the professionalism of the Devils throughout this process and therefore it comes as no surprise that the club is having the on-field success it is.”
The Norths Devils begin preseason training next month ahead of the 2022 season.
