Devils junior affiliates celebrate 2021 Under 7’s ALP Shield

The Norths Devils junior affiliate clubs came together from across North Brisbane last weekend to take part in the annual ALP Shield Under 7’s tournament.

The event is a relaxed competition, based on the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect, in which points are not recorded.

Players from St Josephs, West Arana, Norths Juniors, Pine Central Holy Spirit, Brothers, West Mitchelton, Valleys, Aspley, Samford, and Banyo took part in the day which was organised by Devils Operations & Development Manager Shane Morris.

Special thanks goes out to the ALP for sponsoring the event, Brothers Juniors for hosting, and Nikos Fruit and Upple for supplying some delicious healthy snacks for the players.

Vuly Play also generously donated one of their slick BMX bikes which was raffled to one lucky winner on the day – you can check out more about Vuly and their bikes, trampolines, and others play equipment on their website.

Thanks to Vuly for kindly donating this awesome BMX Bike.

Pine Central Holy Spirit were named the winners of the event, with their exceptional team spirit shining true.

Thanks again to all who helped organise and took part in the day – we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
