Community connection brings Fitstop Nundah to Norths

A successful sports club is all about the community. Of course, on-field performance is the goal – but using sport to make a positive impact on the local community is just as important.

There are a few local businesses that are just as passionate about community well-being as us, and we are glad to have newly partnered with one of them – Fitstop Nundah.

Owners Davina Donovan and Rob Lloyd have a long history with community projects, with Davina also being a registered psychologist who has contributed to many mental health programs.

For Davina and Rob it was the community connection that brought them to become a Devils sponsor in 2021, with Davina excited to give back after the difficult year for our club:

“The opportunity to support a community club that had done it tough through COVID in 2020 was something we really wanted to be a part of.”

“We’re really excited to build new connections in the community through the Devils”

Rob is a former Souths Magpie player but put the rivalry aside in the name of supporting Rugby League development in the area.

The Fitstop Formula training methodology allows you to burn calories, build lean muscle and improve your athletic abilities within a fun and encouraging group training environment.

Your first session is free, so if you’d like to join in with a great group of friendly locals, get in contact with Fitstop Nundah:

Norths Devils RLFC acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the region we serve: The Turrbal people. We pay our respects to the Elders, those who have passed into the dreaming; those here today and those of tomorrow.
