This Saturday at 3pm we will see our two senior affiliate clubs, West Brisbane Panthers and Valleys Diehards, compete against each other in the Brisbane Rugby League A Grade Competition.
The two teams played a close match earlier this season with Wests coming away with the win 32-30. This time Valleys will have the home ground advantage and will look to seek revenge.
With both teams well placed on the ladder and their fitness constantly improving, this game is not to be missed. It will feature many Norths Devils players amongst both teams.
Players to Watch
Valleys: Jayden Corrigan is currently the leading try scorer in the competition with 8 tries after 7 rounds. After training alongside Sonny Bill Williams in the off season, he is continuing to improve each week and will no doubt once again be hard to stop at the try line. Scotty Prince will also have his influence all over the match as usual.
Wests: Bryce Donovan will play only his 4th match with Wests but he has had no trouble slotting in, and forms a great combination with Norths Devils teammate Harry Freebairn. Traditionally a half, Bryce is taking on a new position at Hooker, proving how versatile he is as a player.
Details: Saturday 3pm Emerson Park, Grange
