Devils headed to Nanango for Country Round

Round 18 of the Intrust Super Cup is Country Week with all teams headed to regional towns throughout Australia and PNG.

Last year saw the Devils make the long trip to Lae, PNG, where they were welcomed by massive crowds and footy fanatic fans.

Today the QRL announced that the 2019 match between the Devils and Sunshine Coast Falcons will be played at Nanango, Queensland on the 21 July.

One of Queensland’s oldest towns, Nanango has a long history and a number of heritage listed buildings. With a population of about 4,000 people, the town is also known for the Nanango Country Markets, a number of annual festivals, sporting facilities, and museums.

The Falcons vs Devils game will kick off at 1:10PM on Sunday 21 July.

The final ground selected will be announced closer to the date.
