Norths Devils are delighted to announce Ladbrokes as the club’s official wagering partner for 2018.
The Ladbrokes logo will adorn the back of the Devils’ Intrust Super Cup jersey. This is an important arrangement because both the Devils and Ladbrokes have partnerships with the Brisbane Broncos.
Ladbrokes already have extensive partnerships in both sports and racing – notably the Brisbane Broncos, Newcastle Knights and Canterbury Bulldogs in the NRL – and the Queensland-based company are delighted to have forged a relationship with a team in Intrust Super Cup.
“Ladbrokes are the oldest bookmaker in the world, so it is only fitting that we have entered into a relationship with one of the oldest rugby league clubs in Australia,” Ladbrokes Head of Media Roger Oldridge said.
“Very few clubs in the country have produced the amount of young talent as Norths. The names of the last 20 years – Cameron Smith, Cooper Cronk, Billy Slater – join a list of greats like Clive Churchill and John Sattler who have proudly worn the Devils jersey.
“Norths were not far away from a finals berth in 2017 and the club has put together a strong team for 2018.”
Devils CEO Terry Reader said the Ladbrokes partnership continued a promising off-season for the Devils. “We have been delighted with the support that we have received for the 2018 season – the Devils’ history is well-known across Australian sport,” Reader said. “We welcome Ladbrokes to our club and we look forward to working with them across 2018. They are strong supporters of Australian sport and racing and we welcome them to the Devils.”
